December 26 Coverage + Ongoing PRN Shifts | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Fast-Paced Clinic Setting

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for immediate urgent care coverage in Austin, Texas . This assignment begins December 26th , with additional PRN shifts anticipated throughout 2026. Assignment Overview

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
• Contract: Locum Tenens | PRN Coverage
• Start Date: December 26, 2025
• Future Shifts: Ongoing PRN dates anticipated throughout 2026
• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (no nights, no on-call)
• Patients: All ages and seeing 25-28/day

• Provide full-scope urgent care for walk-in patients
• Evaluate and manage acute illness & injuries
• Order and interpret point-of-care tests, labs, and imaging
• Perform typical urgent care procedures:
• Splinting
• Wound care
• Laceration repair
• I&D

• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and efficient patient flow Candidate Requirements
  • Active Texas NP or PA License
  • Unrestricted DEA
  • Experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine preferred
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages
  • Comfortable practicing autonomously in a fast-paced environment
