Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - CVICU – Nights -
Seeking a ACNP with experience treating heart failure patients in a high-acuity CVICU
.
Care for complex cardiac patients—from heart failure to CABG/valves and open aortic repairs. You'll be surrounded by a team that leads with excellence, values your voice, and invests in your growth.

• Work in an elite CVICU within a Level 1 trauma and nationally ranked heart & vascular institute
• 6p–6a night shift with full-time (40 hrs/week)
• 8% geographical pay differential for role
• Will train on devices—expand your cardiac skillset
• Rotating weekends and holidays to maintain work/life balance

• Be able to do the job as described
• AGACNP certification required
• Texas RN & APRN licensure (or ability to obtain)
• 2–3 years of CVICU or critical cardiac care (RN or NP) required
• Experience managing heart failure population (RN or NP)

• Deliver high-acuity care to post-cardiac surgery, heart failure, and endovascular patients
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment with world‑class surgeons & intensivists
• Utilize and gain training on mechanical devices in a CVICU setting
• Perform advanced assessments, develop plans of care, and execute therapeutic interventions
