Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: December 29, 2025
Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift with on-call coverage; shifts begin at 6:30 AM, daily huddle at 6:45 AM; OR operates 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM with varied room coverage; weekday and weekend on-call required with 30-minute response time

Highlights:

• 14 operating rooms including 2 cardiovascular ORs with high-volume robotics, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology procedures
• 1:1 patient ratios ensuring focused, quality perioperative care
• Collaborative environment with 8 RNs and 8 surgical technologists on the team
• Meditech ORM electronic medical record system in use
• Self-scheduling for on-call shifts (1–2 per week based on PTO requests)
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Varied skill set including General Surgery, ENT, Urology/Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Robotics
• Cardiovascular OR (CV??) experience required
• Current BLS certification
• CNOR certification preferred
• 5 years of experience preferred
• Ability to float to Preop Holding as needed
