Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a dependable, patient-focused Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Odessa, Texas.
This is a structured, morning-only schedule in a primary care setting—ideal for an APP who is confident managing common acute concerns, chronic disease follow-ups, and preventive care while maintaining strong documentation and patient experience standards.

Coverage Need: 1 Primary Care APP
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay Rate: $85/hour
As the onsite Primary Care APP, you will:
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Manage common acute presentations (e.g., URI, minor infections, MSK complaints) and routine follow-ups.
Support chronic disease management (e.g., HTN, DM, hyperlipidemia) and preventive care visits.
Order and interpret basic labs/diagnostics as appropriate and coordinate referrals when needed.
Document thoroughly and accurately to support continuity of care and clinic workflows.
NP or PA with current, unrestricted Texas licensure (or ability to obtain in time)
Current DEA (if prescribing is required onsite)
BLS certification
Comfort working independently within standard primary care scope and escalation pathways
Prior primary care / family medicine outpatient experience
Strong patient communication skills and efficient, high-quality documentation habits
Short-term coverage window with a consistent weekly schedule
Morning-only shifts (4-hour blocks) with predictable hours
Competitive hourly pay at $85/hr
