Director Trauma Program

- Develop processes to monitor and improve financial performance and resource utilization of the Trauma Center.
- Perform strategic planning and coordinate optimal care of trauma patients across the continuum.
- Coordinate efforts between local and regional trauma systems.
- Monitor clinical processes, outcomes, and quality of care.
- Develop quality filters, audits, and case reviews to identify trends and events.
- Design the trauma registry to facilitate performance improvement activities and research.
- Manage verification and re‑verification processes for the Trauma Center.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and TNCC Instructor certification.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a trauma center; 5 years in ED, ICU, or critical care preferred.
