Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant CVICU-CVIMU – Full-Time Nights – Houston, TX
Position Highlights- Full-time schedule: 3x12s (night shifts)
- No weekend shifts and no on-call responsibilities
- Rotating holiday coverage
- AGACNP or PA-C certification required
- 2–3 years of RN or NP or PA experience in Critical Care required
- Cardiology experience strongly preferred
- New graduate PA or NPs must have prior RN experience in Critical Care ICU or Cardiac Care units, including exposure to:
- Fresh transplants
- Cardiovascular recovery
- LVADs and ECMO
- Experience with heart failure patient population
- Cardiothoracic surgery patients
- Endovascular and open aortic repair cases
- CABG and valve surgeries
- Compensation - $135,000 - $148,000 with shift differentials
