Nurse Manager – Labor & Delivery (RN)
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: Nights (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-time, may include weekends
Pay Range: $45–$58/hour (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance & Bonus: Available on a case‑by‑case basis
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to lead a high‑volume Labor & Delivery unit at a large, acute‑care hospital in Houston. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring high‑quality patient care within the department.
The Nurse Manager will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, manage staffing and budgets, and serve as a clinical and educational resource for the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and evaluate patient care delivery within the Labor & Delivery unit
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on operational planning, budgeting, and quality initiatives
- Monitor and drive performance improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Anticipate departmental needs and implement strategies to enhance care delivery
- Promote clinical competence through staff education and development
- 3–5 years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care Labor & Delivery leadership experience required
- Active Texas RN license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- BLS certification
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification within 6 months of hire
- ACLS preferred/required based on department standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High‑volume Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 15–20 beds

Pay Details: $45.79 to $60.09 per hour
