We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care in a high-volume acute care setting. This role involves collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, delivering patient care through the nursing process, and supporting patients and families during labor and delivery.

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, exams, treatments, and education.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Document patient histories, interventions, and treatment plans accurately.
• Support and guide patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.
• Participate in unit-based quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor to less experienced nurses when applicable.

• Active RN license in Texas OR compact state license, free of stipulations/disciplinary actions.
• BSN required (ADN and new grads will not be considered).
• 3-5 years of acute care Labor & Delivery experience (skilled nursing or non-acute backgrounds not eligible).
• Full-time night shift availability only (no day shift, transfers, or part-time roles available).
• Updated resume with accurate job history and unit details.

• Experience across extended women’s services.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.
• Level IV Maternal Designated Facility.
• 12 labor beds, 19 antepartum beds, 4 swing beds.
