Camp Shield Development Associate VISTA

Camp Shield's mission is collaborating to empower Veterans - emotionally, socially and physically - to ensure they thrive After Military Service. Our vision is to reduce the risk of Veteran homelessness and suicide by providing a secure and comfortable healing environment for the Veteran and their children to heal and grow. To achieve this vision, Camp Shield provides a series of workshops, mastermind book clubs, peer-to-peer support groups, retreats, financial assistance and resource referral services.

Member Duties :
To continue ensuring that Veterans and their families receive the educational, social, and emotional support they need to foster strong peer/community connections and address susceptibility to suicide, poverty, and homelessness. The Development VISTA will build upon the foundation and relationships already established to further strengthen Camp Shield's development efforts and secure sustainable funding. Goals and objectives include:
Strengthening the Grant Pipeline for Sustainable Funding, Enhancing Camp SHiEld's Fundraising Capacity, and Supporting a Culture of Philanthropy Within Camp SHiEld.
