A nonprofit organization is seeking a Grant Programs Specialist to support the administration of its grantmaking programs. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative professional. Working autonomously, the new hire will manage grant applications, awards, and deliverables by maintaining accurate records, handling correspondence, and supporting program operations while ensuring timely processing, clear communication, and compliance with internal requirements.
Salary + Benefits:- $80,000–$100,000

Direct Hire
- Receive and process grant deliverables, including progress reports, award letters, and financial documentation across all programs.
- Set up, maintain, and update grant deliverables for new and existing grants.
- Update and maintain grant records and status in the Foundation’s grants management system.
- Support grant closeout procedures.
- Manage intake of grant applications and award nominations.
- Process budgets for approved grant applications and share with the appropriate team member.
- Prepare and send grant award letters and non-funded notifications with approval.
- Maintain proposal tracking materials, program area assignments, and master grant and chair lists.
- Draft and send grant-related correspondence with approval.
- Maintain organized digital grant files and remove outdated materials.
- Monitor and manage shared email inboxes.
- Provide administrative support for Foundation programs and events, including conferences and award ceremonies.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of Foundation operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workflows
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and document management systems
