Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bilingual After‑School Program Coordinator on behalf of a community‑focused organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals and structured enrichment programs for children. This is an exciting on‑site opportunity to support youth and families in the Houston community through hands‑on coordination and daily program management.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The After‑School Program Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring smooth, engaging, and safe program operations for children. This position supports meal distribution, site coordination, and administrative functions while creating a welcoming and organized environment. The ideal professional is dependable, positive, and passionate about community service and youth development.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate daily program activities, setup, and cleanup.
  • Engage positively with children, families, and staff.
  • Maintain site organization, safety, and cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Support meal distribution and ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Complete administrative checklists, postings, and daily reports.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership to ensure seamless operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in youth programs, education, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform light activity.
  • Completion of one‑day training and successful background check required to work with children.
