Job Description:

Lifesciences (LS) Marketing Manager will lead end-to-end integrated campaigns for the Life Sciences industry. You will manage LS marketing budget, spend tracking, ROI measurement, campaign planning, and global/tactical execution within a matrix organization that includes regional (NA, EMEA, AP, LA) program success. You will work with the Head of LS Marketing and Strategic Marketing Manager, lead a matrixed campaign crew, and report monthly and quarterly targets to the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team.

You will collaborate with LS-focused sales teams to ensure sales support of marketing plans, capture feedback, and measure key campaign performance metrics. This role is hybrid, located in one Rockwell Automation office, and reports to the Head of Global Industry Strategy and Marketing - Life Sciences.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop annual marketing plan and budget requirements as part of the Global Industry Marketing COE team during the annual operational planning cycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional growth targets.
  • Collaborate with Global LS sales leaders to ensure closed-loop feedback and coordinate campaigns, elevating challenges and priorities in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with broader Global Marketing to execute integrated campaigns (Marcom, Events, Digital, Demand Generation, Social, PR) and lead a matrixed campaign crew.
  • Own budget, spend tracking, ROI measurement, and tracking of plan vs actual spend for LS campaigns.
  • Ensure Global industry message alignment within regional campaigns and allocate appropriate budgets.
  • Interface with LS customers to develop collaborations for webinars, conference presentations, articles, and blogs; learn trends and translate into future investment opportunities and marketing program strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a network of marketing vendors, industry associations, and societies; ensure thought leadership through presentations, blogs, and success stories; evaluate ROI for membership and participation.
  • Participate in global projects and contribute to Global strategic content creation, Automation Fair planning, and other globally oriented work streams.
  • Responsible for industry proof points, campaign material, and collateral for trade conferences and sales enablement support.
  • Lead LS marketing program planning at Automation Fair, including booth, demos, partner demos, customer presentations, panels, enablement, and booth staffing.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Hybrid work capability from a Rockwell Automation office in the USA.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Ability to travel for business within North America, Europe, and Asia, approximately 25% travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of marketing experience in Industry Marketing or Lifesciences End User/OEM marketing roles.
  • Extensive experience in Lifesciences manufacturing, quality, IT/OT functions.
  • Significant knowledge and 5+ years of LS manufacturing marketing experience; familiarity with manufacturing automation or digital technologies is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of integrated campaigns experience with Global and regional execution; experience with regional events, user group meetings, conferences, email campaigns, webinars, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across regions.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills; able to provide past marketing campaign or writing examples.
  • Ability to write industry/customer-specific and brand-consistent marketing copy.
