Job Goal:

The Marketing Coordinator at Region 4 supports department-wide marketing initiatives by managing the operational workflow of campaigns, projects, and deliverables across programs, products, and services. This role ensures that marketing efforts move efficiently from intake through execution by coordinating timelines, routing assets, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. The Coordinator works closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing and specialists to maintain consistent, brand-aligned execution across channels and to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.

Through strong coordination and communication, this role helps the department meet its goals and deliver high-quality marketing that supports Region 4's mission.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor's degree preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or related field

Experience:

* 7 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or communications

* Digital Marketing and Professional Marketer certifications, preferred

Special Knowledge and

Skills:

* Advanced project management expertise, with the ability to coordinate multi-channel campaigns and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

* Strong understanding of marketing workflows and campaign processes across web, email, social media, and events

* Ability to translate strategy into actionable project plans, briefs, timelines, and deliverable requirements

* Skilled in coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns and driving cross-functional alignment

* Proficiency in project management platforms such as Wrike, Asana, or  to manage tasks, workflows, and timelines

* Strong analytical and quality-review skills, with the ability to identify gaps, ensure accuracy, and maintain brand and messaging consistency

Major Responsibilities

* Support the Assistant Director by translating marketing strategy into clear project plans, timelines, and workflows.

* Lead the operational planning of major service-line campaigns, PD conferences, and center-wide initiatives.

* Develop campaign briefs, task lists, and project schedules, ensuring all components align with organizational priorities.

* Monitor progress of major initiatives and ensure operational components move forward on schedule.

* Execute key operational components of major marketing campaigns and service-line initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

* Serve as the day-to-day operational lead for the Marketing Department, ensuring smooth movement of projects across all stages.

* Provide direction and clarity to Specialists on project expectations, timelines, and required deliverables.

* Host project check-ins, document next steps, and maintain alignment across the team.

* Maintain campaign documentation, asset libraries, content calendars, and project management systems.

* Act as the primary point of contact for internal departments requesting marketing support, gathering details and clarifying needs.

* Communicate project updates, deadlines, and deliverable requirements to Specialists and program teams.

* Conduct first-level reviews for accuracy and completeness before routing materials to the Assistant Director for approval.

* Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and organizational requirements, coordinating content uploads or distributions as needed.

* Ensure grant-related marketing tasks are completed accurately and on time, supporting departmental and CSC&E goals.

* Perform all other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Frequent use of standard office equipment; prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting; repetitive hand motions (keyboarding and use of mouse); occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may work prolonged and irregular hours; work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under pressure.
