Extruder Operator / Materials Mixer
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Extruder Operator / Materials Mixer for a plastic manufacturing company in the South Houston area. This company specializes in plastic compounding and production, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency in all operations.
Pay Rate$18.00 – $23.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule and HoursMonday through Friday
10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Must be flexible to train on day shift and work overtime or weekends as needed
- Keep extrusion/blow mold machines running safely and efficiently during shift
- Ensure machines are functioning according to GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards
- Monitor product quality to meet established specifications
- Perform raw material staging, weighing, and mixing according to work orders to ensure accurate blends and prevent contamination
- Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues while completing quality inspections and production documentation
- Minimum 3+ years of recent extrusion/blow mold operator experience required
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to safely enter machinery areas without physical restrictions
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Background check and drug test required
