OBJECTIVE
The Shop Hand will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment, and general shop duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Clean, service, and refurbish tools
- Maintains, troubleshoots, tests and assembles and disassembles tools relative to services provided by location
- Work to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices
- Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to load and unload jobs
- General housekeeping of the facility
- May be required to be available on a 24 hour/on-call basis to respond to customer needs
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
- Work in a safe manner to ensure all Nine Energy safety policies and practices are followed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1+ years’ industry related experience and demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Must have good written and oral communications
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format
