Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Production Assembly Supervisor II – Interior to join our team. The Production Assembly Supervisor II – Interior at Frazer reports to the Production Control Manager
, and is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising employees and production activities across the Interior, Doors, and Pre-Make Assembly departments to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time vehicle builds.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Production Supervisor, Interior Look Like?
  • Encourage and enforce a Safety First mindset with strong housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Ensure Team Leads are enforcing housekeeping and safety policies consistently.
  • Start each day with a Safety Moment and predetermined stretches.
  • Lead by example in supporting safety initiatives and training needs.
  • Monitor and approve time and attendance, including PTO requests, using UKG.
  • Confirm daily clock-ins and manage Call In Log accuracy.
  • Plan and communicate daily and weekly work sequences by job operation based on production schedules, parts availability, and staffing.
  • Assign daily completion deadlines and align work priorities across departments.
  • Monitor, analyze, and reduce departmental defects per unit.
  • Meet daily with Quality Control to review defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor individual employee performance and provide training or counseling as needed.
  • Ensure availability of tools, parts, processes, prints, and properly trained personnel.
  • Partner with HR to post, interview, and hire for open positions.
  • Coordinate temporary labor support and manage cross‑training programs.
  • Resolve issues with engineering, scheduling, and purchasing, including BOM corrections and part expediting.
  • Plan and coordinate outside processing needs with Purchasing.
  • Keep Team Leaders and Team Members informed of schedules and priorities through daily huddles.
  • Ensure materials are issued correctly and job operations are completed in Syteline / Shop-Trak.
  • Verify material quantities, job sign‑offs, and task completion daily in Job Manager.
  • Measure and review performance metrics weekly, including labor utilization, defects per unit, attendance points, and cross‑training competency.
  • Encourage accountability, continuous improvement, and policy compliance across the team.
  • Coach, praise, and discipline team members using progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Conduct regular discussions, periodic reviews, and annual evaluations for all team members.
  • Actively participate in emergency evacuation procedures when required.
  • Participate in daily staff meetings and shared opening/closing facility duties.

Required

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Clean driving record and eligibility for company insurance
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, paint, or service shop environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 5 or more employees
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Some university coursework
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 40, or equivalent safety training
  • Lean Six Sigma or manufacturing process training
  • Prior experience managing employee time and attendance
