This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Houston for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precise metal components. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, programming and adjusting machinery, operating milling machines, and ensuring that finished products meet quality standards. The role involves collaboration with team members and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining, with the ability to set up and operate CNC machinery.
- Experience with Milling and Machinery, including working with various machines to produce precise and accurate components.
- Skilled in Quality Control, with a strong understanding of measuring tools and techniques to ensure product specifications are met.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Previous experience in the aerospace, oil and gas, or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in CNC machining or related fields are preferred.
