SCM Scheduler​/Planner

Duties & Responsibilities

Provides estimated delivery dates when quoting customer orders and schedules processing for

Develops, manages, and distributes production schedules and work orders, resolving any issues with the production department.

Detects discrepancies between planned production and available resources (such as raw materials or scheduled hours) and adjusts plans as needed.

Coordinates with departments such as procurement, production, and sales team to align schedules with workforce, raw materials, and market demands.

Remains updated on the status of ongoing manufacturing work orders and inventory levels.

Generates reports on production status, inventory, and potential issues for management review.

Effectively balances customer needs with organizational objectives.

Take responsibility for ensuring timely deliveries.

Able to create short- to mid-term forecasts, projecting up to one year ahead.

Other duties as assigned.

• Education: Undergraduate degree in business, marketing or industrial engineering preferred.

  3+ years of similar industry experience.
• Job Knowledge: High competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Understanding of manufacturing processes, Excellent attention to detail and organization skills, Ability to effectively address and resolve complex problems, Capability to prioritize and multitask.
• Safety: Understands all applicable location safety rules and regulations and makes sure that all are being followed.

Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.

Sedentary physical activity performing non‑strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.

Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.

Well‑lighted, heated and/or air‑conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

The ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE.

Ability to see 20‑20 when corrected.

Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
