Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Create precise 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD for CNC turning tools, threading inserts, tooling components, and other machined parts.
  • Verify that all designs meet dimensional tolerances, machining requirements, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and customers to interpret and refine design specifications.
  • Develop drawings to support manufacturing workflows and customer presentations for concept development and programming.
  • Partner with sales to accurately quote new parts based on design complexity and manufacturability.
  • Maintain organized drawing records and documentation on a Windows‑based server.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
  • Solid Works experience or familiarity (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of machining tools, CNC lathes, machining centers, and metalworking processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, thread forms, and machining tolerances.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working directly with customers and shop personnel.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work.
