Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Openwork is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Northwest Houston area to hire a skilled and dependable Die Cutter for 2nd shift. Position Overview:

As a Die Cutter, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting equipment to ensure precision cutting, scoring, and finishing of materials according to production specifications. Your expertise will directly impact quality standards, efficiency, and overall production success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate die-cutting presses.
• Install dies and adjust guides for proper alignment.
• Cut, score, perforate, and trim materials per job specifications.
• Read and interpret job tickets and production instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production workspace.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, printing, fabrication, or converting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient math and measurement skills (assessment required - 75% minimum).
• High attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Availability for 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).

Preferred:

• Experience operating die-cutting equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting and bending (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and production noise.
