Operations Manager, Manufacturing Engineer
This person will report to the Plant Manager, as well as the Quality, Production, and Warehouse Managers, to ensure the manufacturing operation is safe, efficient, and timely, while upholding high-quality standards.
Essential Functions- Oversee long-term direction of the plant maintenance department.
- Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain safety and cost efficiency.
- Lead project management efforts for new equipment and improvements on existing equipment.
- Lead process improvement initiatives within the production and warehouse departments.
- Responsible for two direct reports, Manufacturing Process Engineer, and Maintenance Manager.
- Drive equipment uptime improvements through concentrated efforts for maintenance efficiency.
- Management of project budgets and timelines.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider relative work experience
- 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience
- 2+ years in a leadership/management role.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Strong commitment to food safety
- Steady level of attention to detail and commitment to follow through assignments
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite;
Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
This position has extensive supervisory responsibilities including process engineers and maintenance manager.
This job operates in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or as agreed upon. Flexibility is required for this position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
