Job Summary:

The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Process and handle materials for fabrication department

* Work with fabrication team to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

* Use WMS system with bar-code scanners to accurately reconcile inventory

* Support fabrication processes by sourcing tooling and axillary items in shop

* Stack and band materials by manual lifting and cranes

* Transport materials to and from yard and warehouse using forklifts

* Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping

* Return necessary product to stock; finished goods, leftover materials, excess materials, etc.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Excellent verbal communication skills.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Good math and written communication skills.

* Efficient time management skills.

* Forklift experience.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
