We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, including experience with CAD/CAM software, tool selection, and machine setup. The successful candidate will be able to create and modify programs for CNC machines, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and ensure that all programs are running correctly. Position Summary:
The Lead CNC Programmer will embrace Patriot's unique entrepreneurial culture and lead the Pasadena location's efforts to:
• Create New and Improve Upon Existing CNC Lathe Programs
• Create New and Improve Upon Existing CNC Mill Programs
• Maintain All CNC Equipment & Tooling - 4 Haas Lathes, 1 Haas Mill
• Use Automation to Produce Products over Multiple Shifts
• Produce Custom Tooling, Jigs, and New Products
• Train and Recruit CNC Operators
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with Operations to develop & implement a multi-shift Production Plan.
• Work with Operations to develop Tooling & Jigs as needed.
• 1 Haas VF2
• Create & Improve upon Programming for the Lathe Production Line (all brand new)
• 1 Haas ST-45, 2 Haas ST-10s with Barfeed, 1 Haas ST-25 with Barfeed
• Represent the company with High Professionalism, Integrity and Respect.
• Perform any other job-related duties required for this role, or as assigned.
Experience:
•
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED, Degree, Certification, or a minimum of Five (5) Years Experience Programming & Maintaining Modern CNC Lathes and Vertical Mills.
• Deep knowledge of Machining Processes such as Turning, Milling, Drilling, and Tapping. Ability to Reverse Engineer parts for manufacturing.
• Must have knowledge of Fixtures, Tooling, Feeds and Speeds, and Good Math Skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
• Practice Safe Working Habits by checking all safety devices and procedures are operating properly and being used.
• Excellent Communication (verbal & written) and Leadership Skills in a Team
- Based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics and Problem Solving.
• CNC Programming Software (G Code, CNC/CAD, Master
CAM, Fusion, etc).
• Savvy thinking, sound judgment and the ability to manage change are required.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
• Solid judgment along with decision making skills.
• Preferred:
• Experience with Electrical Distribution or UL Certified Electrical Products
• Experience with Fabricated Metal Products
