Master Welder - 1st & 2nd Shift | Houston, TX

1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM | $30/hr.

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM | $32/hr.

Join our team as a Master Welder and bring your expertise in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding to a high-quality manufacturing environment. Work on a variety of metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, performing precision welding, repairs, and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld various metals using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes
  • Check and prepare pipe or structural pieces for welding, accounting for shrinkage
  • Repair castings, gouges, leaks, and other components
  • Operate welding and gas equipment safely, including acetylene and electrical setups
  • Assist pipe fitters with pipe installation, preparation, and fabrication
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and welding symbols
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with government and company standards
  • Perform minor equipment repairs and maintain welding tools and gas equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of welding experience in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Proficient in welding techniques, fluxes, rods, and weld shrinkage management
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and welding symbols
  • Knowledge of metal properties, machining, and welding safety standards
  • Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Welding certification preferred or required
