Openwork is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a well‑established and respected industrial operation in Northeast Houston. • Set up and operate CNC laser and plasma cutting machines.
• Position, align, and secure materials for precise cutting.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

• Minimum 2 years of CNC laser and/or plasma cutting experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and dimensional requirements.
• Working knowledge of shop drawings, technical documents, and product specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capability.
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, cameras, and Windows‑based systems.
• Dependable, team‑oriented, and focused on meeting production goals.

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Safely climb on and off equipment as required.
• Frequently lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled industrial setting.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions across the facility.

• First shift, Monday–Friday, starting at 7:00 AM.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.

• $20.00–$23.00 per hour
