Summary/Purpose Of The Position
The Digital Label Press Operator will work in a commercial printing company and operate digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials. This role will communicate with the press Lead to ensure that all jobs are completed on schedule.
Essential Duties, Functions And/or Responsibilities- Set up and operate digital printing equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the equipment
- Ensure that printed materials meet quality standards
- Communicate with the press Lead regarding machine status and maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with team members to ensure that all jobs are completed on schedule
- Follow safety regulations and procedures
- Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of digital printing experience as an operator
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report any issues to the press Lead
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address equipment issues
- Attention to detail to ensure that printed materials meet quality standards
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
