The Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly aspect of all hose assemblies with GENSA production facility. This role will cover all aspects of building the assembly (un-crating, cutting, skiving, swaging, crimping, testing, packaging, and etc.). Overtime eligible, will be placed on an on call rotation.
About You- Must be able to assemble product per customer requirements/specs and prepare it for final QA/QC inspection- this can include un-crating product, cutting product to required length, skiving raw hose, swaging/crimping, hydrostatic testing the assembly, cleaning the assembly, packaging the assembly into final shipping container, and other functions as needed.
- Read and build pick ticket (BOM - bill of material) to work order - cross reference all materials prior to build.
- Assist QA/QC technician in final inspection
- Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Takes initiative and is self-motivated
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Gas/Oil experience preferred
- Previous Flexible Hose Assembly experience preferred
