Coating Technician

• Ability to use a variety of measuring devices efficiently.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of thermal spray techniques.
• High regard to safety.
• Ability to interpret shop router instructions.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
• Familiar with various HVOF operating controls.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance.
• Initiative to maintain a steady workflow.
• A self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance.

• Ensure that company documents are correctly filled out.
• Maintain constant machine operation to sustain workflow.
• Maintain the size of parts according to instructions and/or drawings.
• Maintain inspection tools for accuracy.
• Determine best setup practices to best coat parts.
• Ensure the use of proper coating materials.
• Ensure that all gases used in the coating process are maintained at good working levels.
• Oversee the work performance of blast operators.
• Be a team player.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Report to work on time, control absenteeism and follow work schedules.
