Laboratory Technician

The Core Technician is a scientist role and will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the production of sterile biological pharmaceutical products. Knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations. • Participates in the Environmental Monitoring process as part of GMP production of viral therapies
• Cell culture and product purification using aseptic technique when required
• Coordinates EM equipment needs with QC EM team for Manufacturing processes
• Draft, complete and revise manufacturing documents including Batch Records and EM forms
• Buffer and component preparation including operation of steam autoclave
• Operation of manual, semi-automated & automated equipment in support of routine clinical production
• Operating Environmental monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ
