Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Mill and CNC Lathe Machinist located in Southeast Houston, TX. The machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to manufacture precision components, performing adjustments to maintain adherence to specifications, and ensuring the quality of completed parts. Duties also include reading and interpreting blueprints, programming and operating CNC equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Collaboration with the quality assurance team to meet required standards is essential.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in CNC Programming, including creating and modifying machine code for CNC Mill and CNC Lathe equipment.
  • Skill in Machining, with hands-on experience in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
  • Experience in Teaching and effectively sharing technical knowledge and processes with team members as required.
  • Understanding of AS9100 standards and compliance with quality management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to product quality.
  • Previous experience working in aerospace, oil, and gas manufacturing is a plus.
