Our business places collection bins at customer locations to collect UCO and grease from cooking and food production operations. Representative customers include restaurants, stadiums, institutions and food manufacturing facilities.
Job descriptionThe Assistant Plan Manager primary responsibilities include maintaining plant cleanliness, cleaning bins and totes, cleaning vehicles, repairing equipment, delivering bins to customers, repairing existing bins, and supporting the overall mission of the operations team. This position may also assist in the processing and transfer of used cooking oil.
Qualifications- Driver’s License (required)
- TWIC Card (Preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in a waste collection role (Preferred)
- Basic maintenance / mechanical aptitude (Preferred)
- Safe operation of plant equipment.
- Clean UCO collection vehicles and ensure they are in proper working order, including updating maintenance logs.
- Clean collection bins and totes.
- Deliver bins and recover bins needing repair or cleaning.
- Assist other personnel in the pickup and delivery of bins requiring more than one person.
- Unload truck at warehouse and ensure spec on the volumes is gathered and logged by operations.
- Perform necessary functions and duties around processing plant, as determined by the plant manager.
- This is a temporary position for a period of 8 weeks.
- Hourly schedule, consistent work of 40-hours per week.
- Hourly pay of $18 per hour with potential opportunities for overtime.
- Adequate tools and equipment.
- The potential for consideration for full-time employment at the end of this 8-week period.
