Full-Time Monday–Friday 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 2:30 PM, generally) | Pay: $28–$30 per hour (DOE)
We are recruiting on behalf of a long‑standing, highly respected precision manufacturing operation that supports demanding industrial applications where quality is non‑negotiable. This is an opportunity for an experienced CNC Mill Operator who wants steady work, modern equipment, and a shop culture that values craftsmanship, accountability, and doing things right the first time.
This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in their work, can think independently at the machine, and understands what it takes to hold tight tolerances day in and day out.
What You’ll Be Doing- Operate CNC milling machines in a production environment focused on precision and consistency
- Set up jobs, load tooling, and run parts with minimal supervision
- Read and interpret prints, specs, and machining requirements
- Make program edits and adjustments at the machine to improve quality and efficiency
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds based on material and job requirements
- Inspect parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Troubleshoot issues and work proactively to prevent scrap and downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- 10+ years of hands‑on CNC mill experience in a machine shop environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC setup through full production runs
- Ability to run jobs independently from print to completion
- Experience editing CNC programs (G‑code or conversational)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, precision‑driven environment
- Experience with multiple CNC controls such as Fanuc or Okuma
- Background working with 3‑axis and 4‑axis CNC mills
- Exposure to machining components used in industrial or energy‑related applications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
