JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team! The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working with tools in a fast‑paced production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic assembly of components to build industrial light fixtures. You will ensure products are accurately and safely assembled using hand tools and air‑powered tools, while following established procedures.
This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective products that align with company goals and meet customer expectations.
- Assemble various types of industrial light fixtures according to work instructions and diagrams.
- Use hand tools, air‑powered tools, and basic measuring devices.
- Perform inspections to ensure fixture meets quality standards and complete required documents.
- Pack and label finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Communicate any material shortages or defects to the assembler lead and/or supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Experience: 1‑2 years of experience in an assembly role preferred. On‑the‑job training provided for the right candidate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a production environment.
On‑site in manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and air tools. Required to stand for long periods of time. PPE required: safety toed shoes. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7am – 3:30pm.
