Houston Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Pac Tec, Inc., a global provider and manufacturer of flexible waste packaging, including specialty nuclear products, spill containment berms, dewatering filters and tubes, IP-1/IP-2 lift bags, tarps, liners, and more, is seeking a Houston Area Part-Time Warehouse Associate.

Responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment in a part-time capacity. This is a part-time position Monday-Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm.

• Receiving & Storing:
  Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against orders, inspect for damage, and properly store items in designated locations.
• Order Fulfillment:
  Accurately pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare orders for shipment or pickup.
• Inventory Management:
  Perform cycle counts, assist with audits, and update stock locations.
• Material Handling:
  Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to move products.
• Safety & Cleanliness:
  Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workspace, including shelves, workstations, and shipping areas, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Documentation:
  Complete daily logs, reports, and record any discrepancies.
• Load and unload trucks with products or materials.
• Compliant with all OSHA, EPA, and other pertinent standard/regulations.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Forklift certified preferred but not required. We will provide training and certification.
• Experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Must have the ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, lift, kneel and use hands and arms to assist in packaging and shipping of products.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• This is a warehouse environment that may be impacted by hot, cold, and/or inclement weather conditions.
• Safety conscious.
• Organizational skills.
