The Senior Electronic Technician provides journey level skilled and technical work involving the construction, operation and maintenance of specialized electronic equipment and auxiliary electronic systems.
The ideal candidate will have electronic/electrical and mechanical experience.
Hourly breakdown of salary range: Minimum $24.00 – Midpoint $29.00 – Maximum $35.00.

Key Responsibilities
- Completes work orders related to the maintenance of electronic security systems. Installs access control, CCTV and other security related devices.
- Provides training and guidance to electronic technicians.
- Assists in overall system preventive maintenance and documentation. Assists UTPD project managers with on‑going security related projects.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by approved courses in electronics.
Experience
Required: Three years of journey level experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and operation of modern electronic equipment.
Preferred: Electronic/electrical and mechanical experience.
