Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Operator
- Vickery Location to join their team. As an Operator
- Vickery Location, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, resilience, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operator – Vickery Location (77032)
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Shift
Schedule:
Day Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Second Shift: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Shifts rotate monthly.
Position Overview
The Operator plays a key role in supporting production by safely moving raw materials, assisting with blending operations, and packaging finished products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and values teamwork, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials from warehouse areas to blending operations in a timely and accurate manner
- Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment safely within the facility
- Assist with dosing raw materials into blending processes and accurately record lot numbers and production data
- Package and palletize finished products while meeting quality and production standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
- Forklift experience preferred but not required (training available)
- Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic are essential
