Production Area Manager

As an area manager at Nailor Industries, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned production team, ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of HVAC systems. You will play a vital role in maintaining high product quality, meeting production targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Team Leadership:
  Supervise and lead a team of HVAC production workers, technicians, and assemblers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve production goals.
• Quality Assurance:
  Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all HVAC systems meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
• Production Management:
  Develop and manage production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and adapt plans to meet changing demand and priorities.
• Safety Compliance:
  Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures, conduct regular safety training, and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Inventory Control:
  Monitor and manage production floor inventory levels of raw materials and components, coordinating with warehouse and procurement to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Problem Solving:
  Address production issues promptly, troubleshoot equipment problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Performance Monitoring:
  Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, and waste reduction, and take proactive steps to improve performance.
• Employee Development:
  Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and training to team members, conduct performance evaluations, and set development goals.
• Cost Management:
  Optimize production processes to control costs, reduce waste, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Communication:
  Foster effective communication between different departments and teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• High school or GED completion required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field preferred.
