As Trident Consulting seeks a Assembler - Mechanical III for a client in Houston, TX over a 12+ month duration on a W-2 basis.
Base Pay Range$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Job Details- Job : BHJP
- Location: Houston, TX
- Duration: 12+ months
- Pay rate: $22 - $24/hr on W2
- Perform disassembly, inspection, reassembly of rotating equipment, including gas turbine units and centrifugal compressors from multiple OEMs.
- Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspections of rotating equipment.
- Assist in repairing and modifying non‑conforming equipment with minimal instruction.
- Use hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling and precision measuring equipment (/OD/Depth micrometers, calipers).
- Follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair under time constraints.
- Provide on‑site support as needed.
- Collaborate with team members, ensuring high quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of overhaul and repair experience in GE10, PGT 10/PGT 25, or Frame 3/Frame 5 areas.
- Good knowledge of HSE requirements and ability to comply with safety policies.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to interpret complex machining or assembly drawings.
