Inventory Control Specialist I
Join to apply for the Inventory Control Specialist I role at HR APG.
Job PurposeResponsible for maintaining and improving inventory accuracy by proactive cycle counts, problem solving and process improvement.
Responsibilities and Essential Requirements- Count a variety of products.
- Use a scale for counting O‑rings.
- Understand, uphold, and enforce inventory processes.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Identify products with training.
- Data entry.
- Read and respond to inventory requests.
- Create solutions for common issues.
- Maintain proper inventory labeling requirements.
Skills and Abilities
- Forklift and reach truck driving (preferred).
- Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Navigate computer systems.
- Verbal, written, and technological communication.
- Detail oriented.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Integrity
- Accountability
- Teamwork
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. (Heavier loads require additional lifters or equipment.)
- Crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
