Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring transformer components are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Production, to identify opportunities for process optimization, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
The Manufacturing Engineer will support production operations by developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes.
Essential Functions:
Daily On-Site Attendance.
Develop and maintain manufacturing processes to support production efficiency, product quality, and safety.
Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to reduce waste, cost, and lead time.
Create and maintain accurate work instructions, routing, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure the manufacturability of new and existing products.
Provide hands-on support to resolve technical and production issues promptly.
Lead or support continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
Assist in specifying and implementing tools, fixtures, and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
Monitor production data and metrics to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
Training production staff on new processes, tools, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety regulations, quality systems, competencies, confidentiality, and ethical practices
Accountable to Objectives
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods of walking and standing on the factory floor
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work.
However, depending on the workload, there may be occasional longer days, and some weekends as needed.
Employee is expected to work the hours necessary to timely and satisfactorily complete the required work tasks

Manufacturing Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Production to identify opportunities for process optimization, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements:
The candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to access and navigate each department in the Office and Factory Floor
Bachelor’s or Masters in Engineering or comparable degree
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role required
Proficiency in AutoCAD software and experience with ERP systems required
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles required
Strong project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
