Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Procurement Specialist to join our team and contribute to our growth at our manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately maintain inventory levels in both the physical stock and ERP system.
  • Organize and manage parts for easy access, ensuring location data is accurately recorded in the system for team members.
  • Create and manage a list of parts required for projects, repairs, and spare inventory.
  • Supervise the shipment and delivery processes, addressing any delays or issues with vendors to prevent project disruptions.
  • Oversee replacement procedures for faulty or damaged parts.
  • Identify and negotiate with new suppliers to improve product quality or service.
  • Provide training to new team members on inventory management procedures.
  • Resolve any inconsistencies or issues with purchase orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly and annual consumption reports for each machine.
  • Adhere to all company rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience as a parts manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate store records.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
