Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Engineer to join our team and ensure precise and efficient production planning across our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement detailed production plans to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Utilize engineering expertise to understand and optimize various manufacturing processes and machine capabilities.
  • Analyze and forecast production requirements to meet customer commitments and manage production schedules accordingly.
  • Utilize specialized software to optimize and track the production process, ensuring efficient workflow and resource utilization.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to improve production processes and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address any issues or changes in demand.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the glass or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential production issues.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery capabilities.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and tools for tracking and optimizing production flow.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in planning and execution.
