CNC Operator

Vallourec Star is seeking a CNC Operator responsible for threading steel tubes. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce threaded and chamfered steel tubes according to precise specifications. This position requires technical skill and attention to detail to ensure high-quality, accurate output.

• Assist in performing machine setups.
• Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and offset adjustments as needed.
• Select and load part programs, change inserts and tooling.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines, including checking and replenishing cooling fluids and making necessary adjustments.
• Operate CNC lathes following Vallourec's instructions.
• Use measurement instruments like micrometers and gages to validate product compliance.
• Maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure work quality meets all requirements.
• Follow all company work instructions, specifications, and policies.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar production role.
• Understanding of machine shop operations and processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong comprehension and execution of instructions.
• Proficiency in English communication.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
