Loan Servicing Manager

About the Role:

As a CBRE Loan Servicing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the team responsible for the management and servicing of small to medium-sized portfolios. This job is part of the Loan Servicing function. They are responsible for the administrative aspects of a loan from the disbursement of funds to the final payment.

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Serve as the point of contact and intermediary between master servicers and special servicers, commercial lenders, rating agencies, and borrowers.
• Track the performance of assigned loan portfolios by providing efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
• Prepare recommendations for lender consent items. This includes leases, loan assumptions, and other real estate-related issues.
• Interpret loan documents and ensure compliance with loan servicing agreements.
• Facilitate the monthly watch list reports and other lender-specific reporting requirements.
• Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
• Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
• Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
