Responsibilities
  • Partner with the business units/functions, sales and management to develop an implementation project plan and assist in the identification and establishment of an implementation team.
  • Ensure that projects and programs that are global in nature are effectively communicated across the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all related company policies, ISO guidelines and other regulatory requirements associated with the project.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and train the implementation team and staff on requirements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and measurements related to individuals, teams, processes, and projects.
  • Utilize effective communication or negotiation skills, employing diplomacy and sensitivity to resolve critical or escalated issues affecting the client, staff, or senior management.
  • Conduct post‑mortem assessment of project performance/success (both operational and financial).
  • Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements

Skills & Abilities
  • Experienced in all areas of transportation, logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies with a focus on developing solution-driven strategy plans to achieve goals, implementing business requirements analysis and testing processes, and identifying timeline constraints and risks.
  • Makes clients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develop and sustain productive relationships.
  • Allocates decision‑making authority and/or task responsibilities to others to maximize the organization's and individuals' effectiveness.
  • Analyzes complex problems and develops alternative solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in influencing departments and implementing and managing change.
  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals; develop individual relationships by listening, sharing ideas and appreciating others' efforts.
  • Maintains stable performance under pressure or opposition; handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization.
  • Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job‑specific software applications.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and clients.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of work experience and completion of the LDP Program.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • At least 5 years industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience required.
Certifications & Licenses
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
