Distribution Center Manager

One of the country’s finest fastening and packing distributors has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced DC manager to lead and manage all operations, process improvement, and services related to Distribution and Logistics.

• Hands‑on management of processes, procedures, staffing and logistics and distribution operations.
• Provide daily leadership and direction to all levels of DC Staff to ensure efficient and productive operations to include hiring, training, and performance coaching.
• Develop, implement, and manage programs/training to ensure safety of staff, equipment, and property.
• Maintain facility and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and uninterrupted operation.
• Develop, recommend, and manage budget and expenditures.
• Develop short‑term and long‑range plans for the Distribution Center.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.

• 5 years related warehouse/distribution experience to include a minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience.
• Forward‑thinking skills to analyze opportunities to deliver continuous improvement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization and cross‑functional environment.
• Ability to operate at a professional level in a fast‑paced environment to achieve business goals.

Warehouse environment. Exposure to cold/hot temperatures. Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods (at least two hours straight, four times in an 8‑hr day) on cement floor. Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Ability to be forklift certified. Must be able to use proper techniques to lift 50 pounds.
