Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all aspects of accounting and financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight-driven decision-making.
What You’ll Do:As the Controller, you’ll plan and direct the company’s accounting operations, overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with operations to enhance performance and ensure all reporting aligns with US GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all accounting functions – AR/AP, accruals, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory costing, and P&L analysis
- Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements and evaluate accounting software efficiency
- Partner with department heads to deliver actionable financial insights
- Lead, train, and develop the accounting team
- 5+ years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience with ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- CPA preferred
