The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operational activities within the commercial insurance function. This role ensures efficient workflows, compliance with regulatory requirements, and high service standards.

• Manager and improve operational processes within the agency
• Oversee policy lifecycle activities including submissions, quoting, binding, endorsements, renewals and cancellations
• Ensure compliance with carrier guidelines and internal procedures
• Lead, coach and develop customer service team and support training initiatives
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on operational workflows and systems within the agency

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Property and Casualty License
• Maintain current knowledge of industry and market trends
• 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
• At least five+ years of similar experience
• Must have strong commercial lines and technical and market knowledge. Must understand a broad range of coverage and risk alternatives.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Agency management system experience preferred
• Extremely organized
• Strong attention to detail & follow-through
• Must be able to work independently, on a team, and under pressure
• Analytical-technically oriented
