Overview

As Texas Operations Manager
, you will lead and scale Terra Energy’s operations across the state of Texas. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on building high-performing field teams, establishing scalable operational processes, and ensuring best-in-class execution as we expand our footprint in one of our most important markets.

You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving installation efficiency, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across all residential solar projects.

• Leading and expanding Terra Energy’s operational presence across Texas to support rapid market growth
• Building, managing, and developing field operations teams, including installers, crew leads, electricians, and operations coordinators
• Overseeing residential solar installations from scheduling through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with engineering standards and local regulations
• Establishing, documenting, and optimizing operational workflows to improve efficiency, installation timelines, and customer satisfaction
• Managing relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and local partners to ensure performance, quality, and cost standards are consistently met
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Customer Support, and Training teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting key operational KPIs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, local AHJs, utility requirements, and internal safety and quality standards

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, construction operations, or renewable energy (solar experience strongly preferred)
• Proven experience leading field teams and managing multi-site operations
• Strong understanding of residential solar installation processes, permitting, and inspections (preferred)
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Texas
