Addus Home Care is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and support its Hospice Teams across Texas
. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in managing and leading multiple layers, with the ability to inspire high performance across multiple teams. This role oversees approximately 7–12 sales representatives and requires strong capabilities in strategic planning, execution, data analysis, and behavioral development. A results–driven mindset and commitment to accountability are essential for success in this position.

- Direct all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Ensure maximum third‑party reimbursement through effective negotiation of service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.
- Assist the Executive Director in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and in allocating resources for the marketing department.
- Monitor the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
- Continuously conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
- Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources, and community resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Minimum of three to five years of professional sales experience; experience in the hospice and health care industry preferred
- Outside sales experience preferred
- Proven, consistent and measurable track record of success in finding, signing and growing business
- Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, public relations skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required
